I fell in love with art and art making early in life. Sure, my bedroom walls had a few Beatles posters, but mostly they were plastered with art prints and postcards from museums I visited. I studied painting and ceramics in high school and on into college. Then the rest of my life happened! We all have our stories, don't we? My creative impulse is to express the awe I feel for the natural world, especially elements of air, water, wind, earth and light..the breath and bones of life. Sometimes I choose bold colors, other times a more subtle representation emerges. In many ways, I am still learning and exploring, and hope it will always be so.
